Patrick O’Donoghue Honoured as Business Leader of the Year
Gleneagle Group is proud to share that our Chief Executive Officer, Patrick O’Donoghue, has been named Business Leader of the Year at the annual Business Leaders Gala Dinner in Tralee.
The event, hosted by the Kerry Innovation Centre in partnership with Kerry County Council and EY, took place on Thursday, September 11 at The Rose Hotel and brought together over 180 members of Kerry’s business community to celebrate leadership and contribution to the region.
The Business Leader of the Year Award recognises individuals who have built successful businesses from Kerry while fostering sustainable economic growth through job creation and community support. Patrick received the award in recognition of his ongoing contribution to the development of the Gleneagle Group and the wider regional economy.
Through the Group’s hotels, venues and events, Patrick has helped sustain employment, support local suppliers and partners, and attract visitors to Kerry year after year. This recognition also reflects the efforts of the many people, past and present, who have shaped Gleneagle Group and contributed to its place within the community.
Also honoured on the evening were Emily Brick, founder of Athena Analytics, who received the Emerging Business Leader of the Year Award, and Dr Oliver Murphy, former President of IT Tralee, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
