Patrick O’Donoghue, CEO of The Gleneagle Group, has been elected chairperson of the Kerry branch of the Irish Hotels’ Federation. He succeeds Terence Mulcahy of Killarney’s International Hotel, who held the role for the past year.
The Gleneagle Group own and operate a number of Ireland’s leading hotel, entertainment and conferencing destinations.
Patrick is a former director of Fáilte Ireland, he also spearheads a number of festivals and events in Killarney, including Ireland Bikefest, Killarney FolkFest, Killarney Beerfest and The Gathering Traditional Festival.
“I am honoured to be elected Chairperson of the Kerry Branch of the IHF. It is one of the most progressive and effective branches in the country and I look forward to representing our members from throughout Kerry in the weeks and months ahead,” said Patrick.
