Enterprise officially opened a new satellite location in The Gleneagle Hotel Killarney this week.
Operating in Ireland since 1997, Enterprise is known for its extensive network of locations, everyday low rates and outstanding customer service. At present, Enterprise Rent-A-Car Ireland employs more than 200 staff in its 25 branches nationwide. The company, which already operates a successful full-time branch in Tralee, can now also cater for the large numbers of visitors that descend upon the Killarney area during July and August.
Speaking at the official launch, Lianne Cook, Area Manager, Enterprise Rent-A-Car Ireland said that Killarney leant itself to be the ideal location for a new satellite branch given the area’s thriving tourism sector and its proximity to some of the country’s most picturesque views and landmarks.
“We are extremely excited about opening here in the beautiful and bustling Killarney - a vibrant urban centre with a strong tourist hub that boasts some of Ireland’s most scenic driving routes along the Ring of Kerry.”
“We would like to thank all of our partners in the local tourism and business community, and in particular The Gleneagle Hotel, for the ease with which they’ve facilitated this opening. We strongly believe that this satellite branch, which is geared towards facilitating the large tourism numbers in the area, has the potential to expand into a permanent fixture,” Cook concluded.
Enterprise, which prides itself on its thorough 25-point safety check on each vehicle and provides a free Pick Up and drop off service, has a new fleet of cars and vans on The Gleneagle Hotel premises and offers competitive weekend special rates.
The new satellite branch at The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney will operate from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12pm on Saturdays.
